For day 7 of the June 1-30 challenge, we are to write what we would want to do if we had 7 days off (ex. a vacation). This is a tough one because there are SO MANY places I would want to go if I had some time off (and the money to do it!) so I’m going to go for broke and just talk about my dream vacation!
I was pretty lucky growing up and I was able to travel quite a bit with my family growing up. We went to Israel, France, England, Spain, Turks and Caicos, and many more. Psychologically speaking, the most memories comes from vacations. They tend to stand out in our minds more because they’re special. As a result, most of the excellent childhood memories come from family vacations.
When the hubbs was in the Air Force, he was stationed in Okinawa for a while. He’s not a huge fan of Asia, but China and Japan have always been dreams of mine. My number one dream vacation spot, however, is Australia! I’ve always wanted to go. My older brother was able to tour with The Who (he replaced their bass player for a while) and went to Australia with them twice. I was so jealous!! I will make it there one day and it will be awesome! I know it!
A kangaroo moseying down the beach! Can’t beat that!
